Use

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP Washington}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

This user participates in
WikiProject Washington.

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP Washington|invite}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

This user invites you to join
WikiProject Washington.

Either of these will add your user page to the following two categories:

• Category:WikiProject Washington participants
• Category:Wikipedians interested in Washington (state)

A nocat=true parameter may be used to inhibit the declaration of these categories.
