Template:UK MP links/doc

This template allows linking to external links found on most current UK House of Commons biographies. This will aid in the maintenance and standardization of these external links.

Note: Links to the Parliamentary Record and Journalisted are currently commented out, as these sites are offline

The order of the fields does not matter.

Fields

• All parameters are optional, but if you don't include any of them, nothing will show up.
• Do not use capital letters. They might disrupt the code.
• The parliament field may be a combined name and numerical id (e.g. nick-clegg/1563) or numerical id only (e.g. 1563). Either format will work.

Some additional links whilst important and informative are not universal to all MP's and so are purely automatic and will only appear if the relevant data is in Wikidata

• OpenSanctions (an open database of sanctions and persons of interest)
• DeSmog a database on topics related to climate change.
• Muck Rack a database of articles someone has written
