Template:Speculation inline/doc

Usage

This template can be used to flag inline problems with prose which seems speculative in nature. It is therefore more targeted than {{Speculation}}.

If required, text parameter may be used to help identifying particular part of the sentence:

This template will add pages to Category:Articles containing predictions or speculation.

Parameters

• sure or certain: if set to "y" or "yes" will remove the question mark from the template's output to denote a degree of certainty that the content is speculation. Please use this with a |reason= parameter. Example: {{speculation inline|sure=y|reason=This text just guesses at the cause.|date=October 2026}}
