An alternative to {{Signpost-subscription}} (the latest issue widget), this template provides an inline link to the latest Signpost piped to the date, tags it with an explosion icon if the issue is still new, and hides the link if the issue is a month old. For use in user dashboard pages where the bigger widget would be overkill.

Parameters
[edit]There are four named parameters, all optional:
|image=– Signpost icon to use (without namespace); example:SignpostIcon.svg(Default:WikipediaSignpostIcon.svg)|size=– icon image size (Default:15px)|new=– number of days to show the explosion icon for new issues; example:3(Default:7); to suppress it, set|new=-1)|stale=– number of days after which the issue link is suppressed as stale (Default:30)
