Wikidata has the properties:
MarineTraffic Port ID (P1624) (see uses)- UN/LOCODE (P1937) (see uses)
- WPI ID (P7625) (see uses)
This template shows a standard set of external links relevant to ports. This will aid in the maintenance and standardization of these external links and the link themselves act as a source of useful information to enhance the articles they are attached to.
Occasionally ports have be merged together and when that happens they continue to use those codes, to handle that modules have been created as template code alone cannot cope with multiple values.
