From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]
  • {{Jupiter radius}} RJ
  • {{Jupiter radius|dozens of}} dozens of RJ (with non-breaking spaces via   and {{nowrap}})

Usually, this will be used as:

  • {{Jupiter radius|1.03{{e|5}}}} 1.03×105 RJ
  • {{Jupiter radius|{{val|13|1|-2|e=7}}}} 13+1
    −2
    ×107
     RJ

Alternatively, one could use:

  • {{val|12|e=8|u=Jupiter radius}} 12×108 RJ
  • {{val|12|e=8|u=Jupiter}} 12×108 RJ

Instead of {{Jupiter radius}} one can use the shorter version {{RJup}} with the same functionality:

  • {{RJup|10}} 10 RJ
  • {{RJup}} RJ

Options

[edit]
  • To include a link to Jupiter radius, use the |link=yes or |link=y parameter:
{{Jupiter radius|link=yes}} RJ
Alternatively, one could use:
{{val|12|e=8|ul=Jupiter radius}} 12×108 RJ
  • To change the default "J" subscript to "Jup", use the |jup=y or |Jup=y parameter:
{{Jupiter radius|jup=y}} RJup
{{Jupiter radius|Jup=y}} RJup
  • To change the default "J" subscript to "", use the |greek=yes or |greek=y parameter:
{{Jupiter radius|greek=y}} R
