Carter-related navigation templates
[edit]Articles about Jimmy Carter are organized into several themes. Because of the large number of articles involved, full navigation is split among several navboxes:
- {{Jimmy Carter}} as a generic presidential biography template
Duplication of contents across each of those should be avoided.
There is also a navigation sidebar, {{Jimmy Carter series}}, which should only include a selection of the most relevant articles.
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:
{{Jimmy Carter|state=collapsed}}will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{{Jimmy Carter|state=expanded}}will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
For the navigation sidebar {{Jimmy Carter series}}, the |state= parameter has no effect; however, the |expanded= parameter can have the following values to expand their respective sections on specific pages:
