Icons which state each species' global IUCN status:
EX	Extinct	No reasonable doubt that the last individual has died
EW	Extinct in the Wild	Known only to survive in captivity or as a naturalised population well outside its previous range
CR	Critically Endangered	In imminent risk of extinction in the wild
EN	Endangered	Facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild
VU	Vulnerable	Facing a high risk of extinction in the wild
NT	Near Threatened	Doesn't meet any criteria that would categorise it as risking extinction but likely to in the future
LC	Least Concern	No current identifiable risks to this species
DD	Data Deficient	Inadequate information to make an assessment of the risks to this species

Usage

Displays a table of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List status names and simple descriptions. Intended to provide clarification for pages which use {{IUCN status}}.

• {{IUCN status table|status row which you wish to remove=-}}

Parameters

If you wish to remove any row of the table, write |<status>=-. For example: |EN=- removes the "Endangered" row. Any status which does not appear in the page should be removed. For example: if the VU status does not appear anywhere on the page, remove the "Vulnerable" row.

DD (data deficient), EX (extinct), and EW (extinct in the wild) can optionally be added with +.

|VU=-	Removes the VU "Vulnerable" row
|NT=-	Removes the NT "Near threatened" row
|LC=-	Removes the LC "Least concern" row

|EX=+	Adds the EX "Extinct" row (only add if EX appears elsewhere in the page)
|EW=+	Adds the EW "Extinct in the wild" row (only add if EW appears elsewhere in the page)
|header=-	Shortens the header text and makes it more general
