Template:Decommission/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

This template is used to provide standardized phrasing and machine readability for the tables in List of current ships of the United States Navy. Place this template in the Notes column for commissioned ships scheduled to be or proposed for decommissioning.

This template takes two positional parameters:

  • {{{1}}} – (required) one of two keywords that cause the template to return an appropriate phrase; phrases are defined in Module:USN fleet totals/data. The keywords are scheduled and proposed
  • {{{2}}} – (optional) year when decommissioning is expected to occur; must be a four-digit year

[edit]

{{decommission|scheduled|2025}}Scheduled to be decommissioned 2025

{{decommission|proposed|2025}}Proposed to be decommissioned 2025
