From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Purpose

[edit]

Usage

[edit]

The "wstitle" parameter is mandatory. All DNB12 articles are available at Wikisource. The parameter links to the associated article at Wikisource's Dictionary of National Biography, 1927 Supplement:

{{DNB27|wstitle=Barton, Edmund}} produces:

Wikisource This article incorporates text from a publication now in the public domain: Davis, H. W. C.; Weaver, J. R. H., eds. (1927). "Barton, Edmund". Dictionary of National Biography (3rd supplement). London: Smith, Elder & Co.

Hidden category

[edit]

This template includes one of two hidden subcategories of category Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the Dictionary of National Biography. If a "Piped" template is used, Category:Articles incorporating DNB27 text with Wikisource reference is included. If a "plain" template is used, Category:Articles incorporating DNB27 text without Wikisource reference is included. In either case the category does not appear at the bottom of the article page, but the article is listed on the category page.
