Template:AE restriction/sandbox
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement restriction
The following restriction now applies to you:
You are indefinitely banned from editing anything related to Main Page, broadly construed.|restriction=Restriction terms go here; for example:
You have been restricted |rationale= rationale or permalink to associated AE thread
As an uninvolved administrator, I have imposed this restriction under the |topic= #code or link to arbitration decision without any brackets
| This is the template sandbox page for Template:AE restriction (diff). See also the companion subpage for test cases. |
| This template should always be substituted – use . |
This template is a convenient, standardised method of notifying an editor that they have had contentious topic restrictions or arbitration restriction(s) imposed on them. Only uninvolved administrators may restriction another editor under the terms of an arbitration policy, and restriction must be given in accordance with the procedure at Wikipedia:Contentious topics or a specific arbitration case.
The template requires three parameters:

A blank copy of the template is below, so you do not have to delete the explanatory text from the above:

You don't have to declare the parameter names – only their values. If you wish to omit them, use:

This template provides its own level-2 heading so no subject should be entered, this can be turned off with |heading=no. The template must always be substituted. Your signature is automatically included. You can prevent your signature from being automatically included with |sig=no
The "decision code" is one of the same decision codes used in the other standardised Arbitration Enforcement templates:
