Kirk Ferentz didn't invent zone blocking, its origin is in at least the 50s or 60s. --Brianh8241 (talk) 15:32, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
- Perhaps the comment is referring to the use of zone blocking in the passing game specifically, or in conjunction with both pass and run blocking in a single scheme? This statement seems false on its surface, especially when coupled with the following claim about zone blocking in the NFL game. Brianh8241 (talk) 15:37, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
