Etymology of Zendscheid

[edit]

Is 'Zendscheid' akin to 'Zend Avesta', 'a part of Zend'? The Lys, Lily flower, could actually be a symbol forwarding to Sho, an egyptian idol about which very little appears in the web.

The name of River Kyll, Zendscheid is in the Kyll valley, remembers an old keltisch term, meaning 'chapel'. Some old celtic signs are found there, as the Solar Cross, a circle over the crossing of both arms of Cross, symbol that existed before Jesus, same as Greek Cross, arms os same lenght, currently in German Air Force, was in use in China and Egypt before Christ.

Svastika, from sanskrit sv= well; asti= being, and German suffix -kheit= condition of, existed in Siberian Shamanism 10'000 years ago. Jean Rivière considered Hexagram an oriental variant of svastika. Gesund + 81.44.80.189 (talk) 13:04, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
