I am working on expanding this article over the next week to add additional sources and historical context. The current title, "Zelve Monastery" reflects a bias toward travel guides that call the site a monastery. Most recent scholarship uses "settlement" or "complex" for this site, which is more neutral. I will add information so that the body of the essay has a discussion of sources that use "monastery," and sources that describe Zelve as an agricultural settlement. (I have citable sources for both).

I am proposing the removal of "monastery" from the title, and changing the article title to one of the options below. Would anyone like to provide feedback on these as possible titles for the article?:

Zelve Rock-Cut Complex

Zelve Complex

Zelve Village
