Page has been repeatedly vandalized by ~2026-34021-76, as unsourced information has been added with POV language issues. Intent of vandalism is confirmed by their usage of words like "stupid" toward a Wikipedia bot and aggressive language toward myself as an editor. (I had never heard of the subject of this article until these edits.) This is not to say that ~2026-34162-63 is correct either, as clearly an unsourced edit claiming in the face of electoral conspiracy theories Two things can be true: Spencer Pratt has endorsed false conspiracy theories about the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral election, which have in turn been endorsed by Zack Peter, and we have policies to address this that we must adhere to with regard to WP:BLP. No, thanks -- I think an administrator review is exactly what is needed. For all we know, you are the subject of this article OR someone closely connected to him; there is no way to verify your identity, and a mere "unsourced" one-line statement from you about your impartiality is woefully insufficient.
The video -- currently still on Threads -- is sourced and linked to, and screen captures were provided with proof of the pejorative terminology used by Zack Peter in reference to an Indian-American elected official. This seems to be the material PickleG13 is most concerned about having removed from the article; however, it IS sourced, AND supported by facts provided with citations, and it IS newsworthy, and it is NOT vandalism.
I maintain PickleG13's parasocial relationship with the topic of this article is likely causing a refusal to allow editing of this article, which is overly glowing towards the topic.
This article is also not written in a very journalistic way: the subject would be correctly referred to as Peter (his chosen surname), but for reasons unknown, repeatedly refers to the subject as "Zack." Wikipedia is not a personal friend of Mr. Peter and should not refer to him in this manner, any more than an article on Barack Obama should refer to the former president as "Barack." ~2026-34021-76 (talk) 08:03, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I am now officially requesting administrator intervention. As you would have noticed if you had viewed my edit history, I have made tens of thousands of edits on Wikipedia and none of them prior to this week have been related to Zack Peter. I only became aware of this conflict because of my creation of 2026 Los Angeles mayoral election, just as I previously created 2022 Los Angeles mayoral election and numerous other electoral WP pages.
It is the policy of Wikipedia to assume good faith, so I am attempting to do that here. However, I don't appreciate the very personal attacks and allegations that you are making without evidence. I am simply trying to adhere to the rules of our community, which prioritize third-party sourcing. As much as it may seem as an outside observer that a direct video of the subject speaking is enough, and that deliberately mocking someone's surname would be obvious in itself, things are often not that simple with Wikipedia.
The other problems that you note, such as referencing the subject by his first name, are absolutely valid ones and I encourage you to help correct them. I hope that administrator intervention can help take the temperature down a bit here. PickleG13 (talk) 07:21, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
