– I think there is WP:NOPRIMARYtopic. The current base topic is a minor Japanese party that existed 2009-2014. A longer lasting one existed in an English speaking country, in Canada from 2002 to 2024. And a newly formed high-profile in-the-news party was just created in the UK -- 65.93.183.181 (talk) 18:01, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

You are forgetting that there's still the Canadian party, a party from an English speaking country, whereas the Japanese party is using a translated name as "Your Party" -- 65.93.183.181 (talk) 03:07, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

    • No, more that if the new UK party does not take this name the Japanese one, which has 3-400 incoming links, is probably near enough to being the primary topic for the status quo to continue, rather than all those links being changed. PamD 22:11, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Changed my mind. Yes, I think that Your Party should point to the disambiguation page as WP:NOPRIMARY applies. There is no particular party that jumps out as the main one from among the options. Bondegezou (talk) 12:30, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

• This term seems to be a fairly literal translation from Japanese, so its claim to primary topic status is weaker by default. A Google Books search for the term doesn't get me anything about Japanese politics on the first page, the term seems to be inherently ambiguous. --Joy (talk) 09:27, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

• Support – Also worth noting that the article for the Japanese party has received a surge in views due to a recent election, and numbers before the election were only a few single digits higher than the other articles.
