Notability

- Many pages are created about subjects after they are deceased, dissolved, etc. That's not really an argument for or against its notability. MarioGom (talk) 12:48, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
Update Needed?
[edit]I believe this article should be updated from "was" to "is" status. Their website no longer states that YouTube Vanced is unavailable, and is back to allowing users to download the app/installer. I would update the page myself, however I have no idea how/why it's back up, when it happened, or any sources talking about this topic beyond the main website itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JakeSnake07 (talk • contribs) 04:52, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see where you got it from. On the main website, I see a big fat blue button saying the tool is no longer available. EeJayEss2008 (talk) 07:05, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

- The only official website is the one listed on the article. Any other websites claiming to be Vanced are illegitimate and may contain viruses. Lybfour (talk) 15:22, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Feature list expansion?
[edit]The feature list only seems to talk about the features of the YouTube modification itself. Should it not list the features to all of the Vanced apps, considering the page Vanced redirects here? Lybfour (talk) 17:25, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
- i can now see why it didnt list them before. seems quite difficult to find sources on anything that isnt the youtube app itself as opposed to ytm vanced. gonna take a stab at it again though later if i get the chance Lybfour (talk) 19:59, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
Is Revanced worth mentioning?
[edit]Would it be worth it to make an addition for mentioning revanced.app, which is a continuation. Unlike the original project, it does not distribute a modified YouTube apk, but rather provides an app for users to patch the app themselves. Dunno if revanced deserves its own page, but that might also be something to consider.
Also should be noted that domains like revanced.to, revanced.net, and revancedapp.io are all fraudulent. Farmers-Market-Menace (talk) 16:00, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
