Spam

this article is clearly spam, put up here straight from the pr desk of yodlee...

they must not be very good PR people. The article says, "rather than market directly to consumers, Yodlee partners with other institutions." What about Yodlee Moneycenter, which lets consumers sign up directly for Yodlee's service?

I'd edit the article to add this, but why should I do some PR guy's job? He makes more than me. And anyway, I should be doing my own job, since I'm here at work.

Chitrou59 apparently believes or has evidence that Yodlee's status as a TRUSTe sealholder is beyond question. If Chitrou59 has such evidence, perhaps they would like to supply proof to this article, instead of removing my references that indicate they are *not* a listed sealholder?

Or perhaps they would like to direct me and others to a "contact us" form that does *not* require opening an account first, in order to ask Yodlee directly about their TRUSTe status. Slhenty (talk) 16:10, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Company website is not a reliable source

Three of the sources for this article are from the company's own website. I fail to see how they can possibly be considered "reliable sources". Wikipedia's RS policy says "Reliable sources may be published materials with a reliable publication process, authors who are regarded as authoritative in relation to the subject, or both." Page, sourcing updates and tag removal

Hi, I have some suggestions to update the content and sourcing on this page. Please add the following to the History section:

• Yodlee was created in 1999 as a free service. It offered a single website to input access information for other accounts, such as banks, investment brokers, credit cards, travel reservation services, shopping sites and news sites. Yodlee offered the technology for individuals to transfer money between savings and checking accounts and pay a bill online, as well as collect all of a consumer's financial information, including student loans, mortgage information, credit cards, 401(k), for a bank or personal finance website. Its services were used by over 200 financial institutions, including Citibank and Bank of America.

The page also has a "promotional content" tag. I removed what I understand to be promotional, and would appreciate a neutral editor taking down the tag. If someone feels that there is more to be removed or polished, I welcome a discussion. Pinging Marquardtika who worked with me to remove the Envestnet tags. • What I think should be changed: In the Info box, update logo to current Yodlee logo
• Why it should be changed: The old logo is from when Yodlee was part of Envestnet. With the sale to STG, Yodlee has a new logo I have submitted the new logo for upload here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Files_for_upload

• What I think should be changed: In the Info box, update parent from Envestnet to STG
• Why it should be changed: Yodlee has been sold to STG, which is the new parent company.
