Hi! I'm a COI editor for Yahoo, a client of my employer, Porter Novelli, requesting some updates to this article:

  • Add this text to the end of the lead to synopsize the History section:
Created in August 1996 by Yahoo software engineer Brad Clawsie, the site began producing original content in 2011.

Including all the details on the deal with CBS strikes me as undue.
  • I think it makes sense to make "Yahoo Celebrity" a subsection underneath "History", or remove the subhead entirely and incorporate its content into "History". This is a small piece to have its own section, especially a top-level one.
  • The contents of the "Mobile application" could likely be folded into "History", after the third paragraph. Having a dedicated section seems WP:UNDUE, especially with just one source.
  • Similarly, the "Ranking" section should also likely be deleted. The information is outdated, and Alexa no longer publishes similar site ratings by category.
