Recently, activists have shifted from the -x end and favoured the -e end, which would create the word "xicane", because of several problems with the -x ending. Can someone add that to the article? Thanks. Mateussf (talk) 09:29, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

As stated above, most of the article is based on unverified and damaging information, the term is borderline racist and bigoted. I personally feel offended as a latin-american pos over the blatant whitewashing of a perfectly normal ethnic description, and i suggest the article be deleted.
