Xicane

[edit]

Recently, activists have shifted from the -x end and favoured the -e end, which would create the word "xicane", because of several problems with the -x ending. Can someone add that to the article? Thanks. Mateussf (talk) 09:29, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Reception by the community

[edit]

It should be noted that the term was endorsed by a man that has never lived nor been on Latin America and the term is treated as an ethnic slur by the latinamerican community.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2806:2F0:9260:92DF:4F7:7A71:3ED2:10C5 (talk) 07:21, 28 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Awful Article

[edit]

As stated above, most of the article is based on unverified and damaging information, the term is borderline racist and bigoted. I personally feel offended as a latin-american pos over the blatant whitewashing of a perfectly normal ethnic description, and i suggest the article be deleted.
