Gradius

[edit]

This game has been placed in the Gradius Series template, yet there is no clear connection. Devilmanozzy (talk) 14:29, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Title

[edit]

It bears some similarities to Gradius, with the series template acting as a catch for Konami shmups with similar mechanics which are related more by gameplay than anything else. I image that having a related games section keep them linked together better~

A statement regarding the choice of title, claiming localised titles(Orius) take precedence has been removed from the main page. It seems, based on looking at a few other pages (Salamander in particular) that the name it is best known under is the article title, with other names are redirects. While the consensus regarding anime seems to be romaji titles, translated redirects and a name change when licensed; old arcade games will tend to be known by the "best" version, since most players are relying on emulation and not arcade hardware to play. Also Orius refers to something else entirely, a seemingly unique name. Combined, these points would lead to Xexex being the preferred title. But someone else can decide this, or ignore this talk page until 2015-ish, probably the next time someone will be here. 70.26.24.46 (talk) 19:46, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
