IUPAC recommendation

The IUPAC comment "Use of this term is not recommended." could be taken as referring (only) to the phrase "xanthic acid", rather than to the word "xanthate". Aside from this, it would be good if the article could mention what nomenclature IUPAC do recommend. —DIV (138.194.12.32 (talk) 05:43, 15 September 2009 (UTC))Reply
