Horrible layout

How does this page not have a table listing the winners chronologically? Or a link to a wiki page with that data? There’s a link to a wiki page with NL champions, and a link to a wiki page with AL champions. The closest this page has is a link to the official MLB site’s awful page listing the winners in a terrible layout that is impossible to scan. Which league champion starts WS at home?

Consider if not already included.

I saw it starting at AL champion's home in 1934 and 1935. So is it 1935 that the pattern of starting in AL champion's home in odd-numbered years began (NL champion's home in even-numbered years)? 1994 WS was omitted, so NL and AL changed places (1995 WS started in NL champion's home). It used to alternate by year. Then, for a while, it was determined by which league won the All-Star Game. Now, it goes to the team with the best win-loss percentage during the season. This is already in the article. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:33, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
