Page move
[edit]In a bold move, I moved the page from World Schools Style debating to World Schools Style debate. This is simply for conformity; other styles of debate have pages with the noun tense of "debate". It seems terribly silly to have WSS be different from the others in this respect. (see Policy debate, Classical debate, Parliamentary debate, Extemporaneous debate, Karl Popper debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate.) Ourai т с 00:58, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Original research
[edit]As of now, only one source is listed for this article and there are no secondary sources. There are many claims that seem like original research and are not supported by this source, the WSDC's Rules Manual, such as "the arguments are often divided into principle, i.e. moral arguments based on ethical principles such as utilitarianism, dignity or freedom, and practical, i.e. arguments based on practical outcomes which ought to be seen as desirable, arguments" and the use of terms like oral adjudication, comparative, counterfactual, framing and POI adjuster.
If more editors can help with adding corresponding inline citations and removing unsourced material or unnecessary jargon, that would be appreciated. PoliceClarity (talk) 18:09, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
