Proposed WorldQuant University Article Updates
[edit]Hello, I'm posting on behalf of WorldQuant University to disclose a conflict of interest and to propose factual corrections to this article. In line with Wikipedia's COI guidelines, I am not editing the article body directly and instead invite uninvolved editors to evaluate the corrections below. The article currently understates several quantitative metrics by 30-60%, omits one of WQU's three current credential programs (Deep Learning Fundamentals Lab), and relies primarily on sources from 2017-2021. Independent sources from 2022-2026 are now available to support updates. A list of proposed corrections, along with independent third-party sources (wherever possible), follows. Disclosure: I am an employee at WorldQuant University. I have no editing privileges and am submitting this proposal in good faith to improve article accuracy.
Correction 1 (Active learner count): Article currently: "16,000+ students" Proposed: "More than 25,000 active learners (as of 2026)" Source: https://www.wqu.edu/about/facts

Correction 6 (Tuition-free claim): Article currently: "WQU's programs are free-of-charge.[2][better source needed]" Proposed: Same claim, but supported by a Tier-1 independent source removing the "better source needed" tag Sources: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210311005187/en/WorldQuant-University-Granted-Accreditation-from-the-Distance-Education-Accrediting-Commission https://www.newtimes.co.rw/article/29573/news/education/50000-rwandans-to-get-scholarships-at-worldquant-university https://www.edtechinnovationhub.com/news/5e76j1fqezv86svhsjfgzd1jfjeq36 https://www.edtechinnovationhub.com/news/worldquant-university-and-renewed-hope-to-expand-free-online-education-in-nigeria https://dcjournal.com/unlocking-the-black-box-of-college-admissions/ https://punchng.com/africa-day-celebrate-employee-mobility/
Correction 7 (Maintenance Template): Current state: "This article relies excessively on..." Proposed: add new sources and remove
Correction 8 (Leadership info): Article currently: "John Endrud was brought in as CEO" Proposed: Strengthen by adding citation Source: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20231130562865/en/WorldQuant-University-Announces-John-Endrud-as-Chief-Executive-Officer
Correction 9 (Entity disambiguation): Article currently: Notes WQU is a separate entity, funded by the Foundation, with WorldQuant LLC as a partner Proposed: Strengthen this — currently structurally correct but light. Could be more prominent in the lede. HarborEdit (talk) 15:06, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
