Corporate History

[edit]

This article conflates the old Workhorse Custom Chassis, LLC company and the new Workhorse Group Incorporated. They are not the same company. Workhorse Group did not acquire Workhorse Custom Chassis. Workhorse Custom Chassis ceased manufacturing in 2012 and was dissolved in 2017.

Workhorse Group was founded in 2007 as AMP Electric Vehicles. In March 2013 it acquired the Workhorse brand, intellectual property, access to the dealer network, assembly plant, and other physical assets. In April 2015 it changed its name to Workhorse Group Incorporated. Balazer (talk) 05:47, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Do you have any references for the history of Workhorse Custom Chassis, LLC? If you do, I would like to modify the current history section on the page to better reflect the history of this organization. Leiwang7 (talk) 05:17, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I edited the article and tried to clarify the two. Let me know what you think. --P37307 (talk) 00:02, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
