Hi Leipoldt, thanks for updating the figures on Wolof population, etc. Only one request--can you add a source for them (either as a reference or an external link)? I've no reason to doubt them, but a ref'd be helpful for future editors to see not to tamper with them (or to be able to tell when they go out of date. --Dvyost 21:51, 11 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello Dyvost, I've added a bibliography serving as reference material. Unfortunately, the best sources on Wolof are publicized in French and German. The reference material usually give the percentages, so that the actual number of an ethnic group has to be calculated from the number of the population and the percentage. The total number of Senegal's or the other countries' population are found in governmental databases like those of the German or U.S. State Department (e.g. US State Dpt. page on Senegal http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/2862.htm).
