Relation with compass roses

parenthesis
[edit]There's a left parenthesis in the middle of the first paragraph. I am guessing where to put a right parenthesis, so . . .
link to polar co-ordinate system
[edit]I think saying that wind roses use polar co-ordinates is extremely misleading?
