The article (which I have just edited) currently says that he "is a Northern Irish politician, and Irish citizen.[1]". His political career includes service in Derry City Council, the Northern Ireland Assembly and the House of Lords. He has never held any office in the Republic of Ireland. I suggest that describing him as "an Irish politician", as was done in the previous version, suggests that his political career has been in the Republic of Ireland. In other words 'Irish citizen' refers to his nationality (Republic of Ireland) and 'Northern Irish politician' refers to the jurisdition in which his political career has taken place. Thoughts?
