Children

[edit]

According to The History of Belle Meade: Mansion, Plantation, and Stud by historian and Harding descendant Ridley Wills II, W. G. Harding had four children with his first wife Selene: John Harding Jr. in January 1831, Nathanial Adams McNairy Harding in September 1832 (lived only two months), Nathaniel McNairy Harding in December 1833, and William Giles Harding Jr. on Christmas Day 1835 (died six days after his mother's death, which was on March 29th, 1837). The book seems thoroughly researched and sourced, and is available through Nashville Public Library. 170.190.43.19 (talk) 21:01, 25 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
