Needs a rewrite

[edit]

Ugh. Whoever wrote this article clearly doesn't understand how wikipedia works. Informal tones up the ass, a plot section that reads like a fanfic and has more words than a college graduate thesis, uninformative and inappropriate diction... come on, people, let's clean this up where we can. I cleaned up the page a little bit and rewrote the character summaries so they don't sound like they're taken from the game manual. --Pretz (talk) 06:45, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Ant423Reply

Re-organising

[edit]

Less of the story copied directly out of the instruction book, shorter revised version would be nice, and a few more pictures.

If I was to volenteer, would the original contributer(s) Allow me to condense the page? and explain more about the worlds (levels) and enemies?

And make it look less like it was copied right out of the instruction book?!--Fr3k3r 12:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Recent additions

[edit]

I've got some concerns over the recent additions to the article. I worked hard at cleaning out all of the old WP:COPYVIO/unsourced content, and now very similar content is being re-added.

  • Much of the info being added about the characters sounds like its ripped right out of a manual or guidebook. That's not acceptable, its a copyright violation. Content should be provided with a reliable source and should be paraphrased.
  • Also, some parts have leftover "[6]" type things in text, suggesting it may have been ripped from a Wikia or something? Because they're not linking to actual sources. Its just literally that text.
  • Content should be written like an encyclopedia entry. Many of the recent changes refer to a "you" or talk very informally, like friends chatting or something. That's not how things are written here.
  • A well sourced review from GameSpot, a source considered reliable by consensus at where we determine if sources are usuable, keeps being removed without explanation.

This is why I keep removing the changes. Sergecross73 msg me 16:06, 17 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
