I would like to see someone take a picture of a wiki wiki bus for inclusion in the article.

Does the bus run between terminals, from planes to terminals, or both? The wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki states that it runs between terminals. Hardyandtiny 06:41, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Makes you wonder -- if they replace it with a walkway, then someone removes the walkway and puts the bus back, then they put the walkway back, then the same person removes the walkway again -- are they just stuck that way? Dodger (talk) 20:41, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

A friend of mine recently was on Hawaii, and told me the bus is still there, and sent me a photo of it. It is called now "Wiki Wiki Shuttle" and there are people sitting in it on the photo, so I guess the ceased operations might not be entirely correct. effeietsanders 00:33, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

wiki is actually the word "quick" hawaiianized, NOT a native hawaiian or even polynesian term.

The switch back to "Wiki Wiki"

Is there anyone who knows more precisely when the buses were switched back to "Wiki Wiki"?

Sources that discuss why are especially welcome: is it simply because the contract with Roberts Hawaii expired, or might it be because the "Wiki Wiki Shuttle" has attained some modicum of independent fame thanks to its Wikipedia history...? (Pure speculation from me at this point)
