Untitled

This article reads a lot like a press release and has POV wording in it in some places. While I think the Wienermobile is significant enough as an icon of pop-culture to warrant an article, this particular article needs serious wikifying. --I am not good at running 21:38, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

My mom just e-mailed me a snapshot of one with a license plate reading "BOLOGNA." I don't want to change the article, because it asserts that there are six -- I'm not sure if this is an addition to the fleet, or a license plate change, or what. 64.131.230.21 14:02, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

I just searched for "weinermobile" and it came up with no results. I didn't misspel it or anything... but shouldn't the uncapitalized version redirect to this article? Polyhymnia

'Mishaps and incidents' section

"On July 17th, 2009, a Wienermobile on a dead end street in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin was attempting to turn around in a home's driveway. The woman driving accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and lodged the Wienermobile under a house..."

What is a "link" in this context?

The work "link" is used for a license plate (and it seems often as a pun by the "hotdoggers"). As English is not my native language, I would like to ask if someone can explain what "link" means in this context? Tony Mach (talk) 08:54, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

How many?

The article states that there are 8 Wienermobiles in existence (apparently in reference to vintage vehicles), and then later says there are 8 current mobiles being used. These numbers are inconsistent. Are there 8 different models over the years, and 8 current Wienermobiles? 68.42.169.85 (talk) 22:27, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

According to this video, the Weinermobile gets a chassis upgrade every 7-8 years, the last one being in 2017.

It takes a lot get to get an article to the point where it can be rated a featured article. This one hasn't even been rated yet. Evaluating articles isn't something I do, or I would, but at a glance, I'd say it take a lot of work to get it to FA. It's not something someone's going to do just to get it on the front page on a lark. BilCat (talk) 04:48, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
