Procedural decline, editor was blocked for vandalism. And in any case, edit requests are intended to allow people to request that a specific change is made, not to request access to the article itself. Article review

It has been a while since this article was reviewed, so I took a look and noticed the following:

• There are lots of uncited statements, including entire paragraphs, particularily at the end of the article.
• The "Economy" section mostly talks about 2011 figures: I think it needs to be updated with more recent sources.

The 2011 data in the Economy section is pretty much just the 'Employment by industry in 2011' table. And sadly that can't be updated since the ONS's Nomis service decided not to release 2021 census data for built-up areas. It's the same difficulty for all built-up area articles. The best we could do is remove it but I would argue that, in this case, the 2011 data is better than no data. Dgp4004 (talk) 17:33, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

Nomis no longer has the detail, but ONS Visualiser does have data now uploaded from the 2021 census Davidstewartharvey (talk) 20:30, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
