I thought that only the front-end of NetworkManager is Desktop Environment-specific, but NetworkManager itself seems to have no GNOME dependencies. 192.114.91.226 (talk) 01:05, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

KDE/CLI

NetworkManager has a KDE front-end so I don't think it is DE specific, and according to the NetworkManager article, there is also a command-line interface for it (or at least some kind of CLI tool for it).
