I started this article as a stub to replace a new redirect. It's a different topic than the target of the redirect, and the redirect article would not be well served to develop the topic of Whitney Avenue, per se. I would support the deletion of this article and redirect. However it takes months of time, and walls of text, to get a redirect deleted. --doncram (talk) 14:01, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually it seems the roadway itself, as a historic turnpike, may be adequately notable on its own, so i won't proceed with trying to get the redirect deleted; it should be an article i suppose. --doncram (talk) 16:39, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not a USRD article

[edit]

I'm not doubting this street's notability, but this article doesn't fall under WP:USRD. Parts of it do and they should be, or hopefully already are, covered on the respective route pages. I have tagged it WP:USST instead. --Fredddie 22:15, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

While not yet discussed in the article, this used to be CT Route 10A. --Polaron | Talk 23:45, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
