Egg White

[edit]

What is the purpose of the egg white? Does it do something to the texture of the drink? 76.64.44.194 (talk) 02:33, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Adding an egg white gives the drink a foamy texture. Sometimes a drop or two of bitters is then added to keep it from smelling like a wet dog. -- Doctorx0079 (talk) 18:15, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Other Media - Television

[edit]

The Whisky Sour is James Cole's favoured drink in the 12 Monkeys TV series (he got into them during a trip back to the 1940s) and it has become a recurring reference in the the show, e.g. during a trip before the WS was invented a bartender sternly replies to a request for one: "my whisky ain't sour". It can be linked to IMDB, the show's promotional material, etc. Is this a strong enough connection to edit in?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.112.53.188 (talk) 11:03, 27 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
