From Paul Krugman's "conscience of a liberal" blog at the New York Times, Mar 11, 2105, "When Values Disappear" Dr Krugman discusses a recent column by David Brooks that appeared in the Times (The Cost of Relativism, print edition of the new york times, MARCH 10, 2015)

Essentially, Brooks argues that poor behaviour by the poor relfects poor moral values (out of marriage births); Krugman responds, citing WWD, that work goes first, leading to changes in behavior that are rational in the face of lost jobs.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.245.17.105 (talk) 17:54, 12 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
