Pronunciation

I've usually heard Westerham pronounced /ˈwɛstrəm/, as two syllables – this is from people who lived there in the early part of the 20th century. Is this general, or is it also pronounced /ˈwɛstərəm/, with three syllables? Are there sources for either? Richard New Forest (talk) 20:38, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I would like to comment on the Black Eagle Brewery closing date. In fact it was still open in 1974 when I was a stock clerk there though there was no brewing on site. All the beer was delivered from other sites (the names of which escape me now!!). The site has since been demolished and redeveloped into houses and offices. It should be noted that the general Wolfe public house is still there and has hardly changed in the last 35 years!!
