The article contains no hint why this artist is notable and hence should be included in Wikipedia. For inclusion criteria, see WP:BIO. As a general rule, the article needs to cite secondary sources (e.g. press coverage, biographies) in order to establish notability of this person. However, no such sources are given. (The link to the museum might not be independent.)

Please add sources to the articlke. At this time, I am replacing the "importance" tag with "notability."
