Clarification for the standard plates
[edit]Before anyone asks about the weird "fractional" weights for the 1" "standard" plates, yes, they do exist, although such weird weights (2.2, 3, 4.4, 8.8, 13.2, 14.2, 17.6, and 22 (at least for the 1" hole plates)) are not produced anymore. ~2026-24829-84 (talk) 14:01, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- Firstly, they are not "weird" they are simply multiples of kilograms (2.2 lb is almost exactly 1 kg). Secondly, it is bizarre to describe anything as "weird" in the prose of an encyclopedia article. — Jonathanischoice (talk) 23:03, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
