Scope

I'm trying to wrap my head around the scope of this article. So far, it seems the article is largely limited to vehicles. While weight distribution can certainly be a factor in anything that moves (eg. external ballistics like water balloons, bouncing bombs), I presume that this article won't cover that. Even within vehicles though, there's quite a broad range of things to consider:

Vehicles that are prone to turning over unless concerted effort is appliedShips, aircraft, submarines, rockets
Vehicles that are naturally kept upright, but whose dynamic stability has a large impact on steeringWheeled vehicles
Vehicles whose dynamic stability doesn't have a great affect on its motionTracked vehicles (tanks), spacecraft, and hot-air balloons

Maybe tanks belong in the second category, because they do have full-fledged suspensions. Anyway, there's probably a lot of room for expansion and organization. --Interiot 16:21, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
