Writing a page for Webrecorder

[edit]

Up until very recently I have worked at Webrecorder developing a myriad of web archiving tools. Throughout my years at the company, I've always been somewhat surprised by the lack of Wikipedia page! Webrecorder's tools are featured heavily in the list of web archiving initiatives, but despite this the page still redirects to Conifer, Rhizome's archiving program that was previously known as Webrecorder.io (a name change that occured almost 5 years ago!)

While I have gone through the conflict of interest editing process for editing similar articles in the past, According to Wikipedia's conflict of interest rules, I don't think I qualify anymore? I'm no longer being paid by the company. While this doesn't remove possibilities of biased editing, it should help!

This would also my first article! Will need to compile secondary sources before starting (there are actually lots of papers that discuss Webrecorder's software!) Mostly posting this so there is a record of my employment history should people have questions based on my previous edits. Shrinks99 (talk) 06:15, 28 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Content Framework Complete!

[edit]

I have added sections for Webrecorder's key products. Most sources for explainer overviews and history of the company are primary sources at this stage. I would like additional details to come primarily from secondary sources from this point forward. Once enough additional points from secondary sources have been added I would be comfortable removing the primary source warning.
