First Wave Pool in the U.S.
[edit]Ok, I looked and looked on all different search pages, I only saw one site that gave to date for when the pool in Tempe was built, the one that was listed in the article. Every site I've read that is rating water parks and such from Alabama to Alaska to Hawaii has said that the on at PMAC is the first. I won't change what the artivle says just yet, but, if more internet sites can be presented to confirm what the article says, we can work it out and come to a consensus.AlaGuy 18:20, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Early wave pools in Europe

As speculation, it was probably executed by some state engineer in the fascist era, who may well have studied the original in Germany. I say a "state" engineer because the "Lido di Milano" was a public, not-for-profit city beach/pool facility way back when people would not yet travel to the sea for vacations...
