many different dates for the possible start of service on this line. ERHA says "probably 1904", the LAMTA Emblem employee magazine says "[presumably] 1907" when the line was quad tracked, and the picture of Slauson Junction clearly shows a Watts car in about 1902 (but that date is probably unreliable). this requires further research, and maybe a dive into the company's physical records (which are being held somewhere in southern California i think). it seems nobody was even sure in 1959 when the aforementioned magazine was published, so this info may just be lost to time. -MJ (talk) 23:24, 11 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
