Merge proposal

Another editor created a draft, Draft:Chilled watermelon, which is a way to prepare a watermelon for eating. The draft lacks sources, but if you can find some, the topic could be merged into Watermelon rathe than becoming a separate article. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 06:56, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Could the editors please be so kind as to remove the following racist content in this article?

In the Civil War era United States, watermelons were commonly grown by free black people and became one symbol for the abolition of slavery.
