First Edition

[edit]

This is the first edition of this page for what I would imagine will eventually contain many changes/ submissions. Although I attended several of the meetings first-hand, I attempted to restrict any commentary, follow common guidelines for journalism, and keep the article focused on the type of information that would appear in any generic article about the events that took place. Any comments, challenges, input or other information would be welcome and appreciated. johntindale 18:33, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was extremely unhappy about the MSM coverage or rather lack there of. I was actually at the 1980 two day event and the coverage was untruthful and deceptive. There were way more in attendance than was reported and the message was centered on a return to the moral center directed by God. Many of the speakers warned the government officials of the consequences of not following the Word. The report here that this was a " right wing" political event is ludicrous!! This angers me greatly!! A return to the Lord was the purpose of the event and a reminder that the nation was founded by men whose values were seated in Judeo-Christian values. A reminder that a nation without a moral compass is doomed. ~2026-30390-72 (talk) 20:46, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
"following the Word" In reference to the Logos from Johannine literature and the Gospel of Luke, or some other definition of the term? Dimadick (talk) 05:06, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
