"the Gloria Steinem of men's liberation"

This description is repeated frequently about Farrell, usually attributed to the Chicago Tribune, but with no date, and sometimes attributed to the author Carol Kleinman. I finally found the source and the actual quote is "the Gloria Steinem of the men's movement", which explained in part why it was so hard to find. The quote that he was described by GQ as "the Martin Luther King of the men's movement" turns out to be false too. It was not a quote, and in fact from Elam's perspective. This is the actual cite from GQ " whom Elam sees as speaking the gentler truth of his same message, a white MLK to Elam's white Malcolm". I have deleted it. --Slp1 (talk) 17:04, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Thanks! Latest one. Instead of Esquire naming him one of the three most important male feminists as added by an IP (very likely associated with Farrell) in 2012, they actually called him a “feminist dupe”!!!! Utterly extraordinary . Slp1 (talk) 21:47, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
