Never Tried or Convicted?

The most reliable history of the Earps in Tombstone and the gunfight is detailed in Paula Mitchell Marks "And Die in the West," and she cites the detailed Earp/Holiday 30-day trial transcripts as supportive evidence. Furthermore, the vendetta and 'hunting down' of the Cowboys after the trial (as romantically depicted in the movie 'Tombstone') is the among the least well-documented history. More supporting evidence is needed here, because if the article uses some of the other extant biographies of (Wyatt) Earp as sources, they are pretty inaccurate, as discussed in PMM's book. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.98.232.41 (talk) 03:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
