Unmatching in the article

Hey, my name is Niv and i'm editor from Hbrew Wikipedia. In the template it saya mr. Davidson was born in Troy, Ohio, while in the actual article it says that he was born in Sidney, Ohio. Even the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress couldn't help me to answer the question. ניב (talk) 19:51, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Military Service

Rep. Davidson served 12 years in the military as both enlisted and officer, in special operations capacity, I think it’s an integral part of his life that needs to be included. However due to the nature of his work perhaps, or the fact that it was kind of preinternet there’s not a ton of details on his service. I am using his campaign website bio as a citation - normally pretty sketchy - because he included a picture of his wife pinning his army ranger tab on in 1996, it helps straighten out the timeline a bit, because he would have done ROP - the course to get into the 75th ranger regiment which is today called RASP - directly afterward. I’m including it because it’s the only place I’ve seen that detail, although I’m trying to get the national archives to give me his military service record as they are required to do under the Persons of Exceptional Prominence clause which includes members of Congress , although unfortunately they’re pretty backlogged. --Abovfold (talk) 22:06, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

Death threats

I would like to know if he would still make that same comment if it was his wife was the one that received that call. I’m going to guess he would be singing a completely never tune!

Misleading claim about Boehner's departure

The article's Tenure section says "Upon election, Davidson was asked to join the House Freedom Caucus, an invitation he accepted from the group, which was instrumental in pushing Boehner to resign." This makes it sound like it was Davidson's decision to join the caucus that spurred Boehner to resign. This is ridiculous, since Davidson couldn't have been elected without Boehner's prior resignation. I moved the claim about Freedom Caucus's role to another place in the article, and clarified this sentence. MiguelMunoz (talk) 21:29, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
